Grants Accountant (Contract-to-Hire)

We're seeking a Grants Accountant to support grant-funded programs through financial reporting, budget monitoring, reconciliations, compliance oversight, and audit support. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with experience in grant management, governmental accounting, or nonprofit finance.

Key Responsibilities:

? Manage grant budgets and financial reporting

? Process reimbursements, invoices, and accounts payable

? Perform account reconciliations and maintain financial records

? Support audits and ensure compliance with grant requirements and GAAP

? Monitor expenditures and assist with budget tracking and amendments

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

* 2+ years of accounting experience (grant accounting preferred)

* Strong Excel and financial reconciliation skills

* Knowledge of GAAP and grant compliance requirements a plus

* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
